President, Broker
Josh Cook has lived in the Austin area for more than 40 years and has seen a lot of changes in Austin real estate. Although he obtained his real estate license in 1992 and has been interested in real estate for many years, Josh did not begin a full-time career in real estate until 2005. Prior to that time, he worked as an operations officer for several successful companies. His extensive experience in operations makes him a natural choice for clients who appreciate the attention to detail required to make buying and selling real estate a smooth and successful process. Clients benefit not only from Josh’s strong business background, but also his knowledge and passion for real estate.
In 2005, Josh began his career in real estate working as an agent for a top national real estate company. To gain experience beyond that of a residential agent, he worked for a national homebuilder and then for a local commercial firm. After building a strong foundation in both residential and commercial real estate, Josh opened Cook Real Estate in 2008. Josh’s experience as a Broker in both residential and commercial real estate is a great benefit to clients who want their real estate transactions to be efficient, seamless and profitable.
Josh graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He obtained his Broker’s License in 2008. Josh and his wife Diana live in Leander and have a 16-year-old daughter. He enjoys fishing, hunting and playing golf. Josh has served on the Austin Chapter’s Costal Conservation Association’s Board for many years and was previously the President of CCA Austin.
